The core values at Robinson 24-Hour Veterinary
Hospital are knowledge, compassion, and transparency.
Founders Dr. Tanya and Austin Robinson have gone
all-in to create a radical animal-care hospital that is
deeply sensitive to its patients.
The hospital strives for a strong fear-free environment.
One of their dog exam rooms has a patio—so fearful dogs
do not have to enter the hospital through the main doors.
They have a cat-only room—to decrease the dog smells and
sounds that can cause fearfulness in cats. Their lobby mimics a
living room for comfort of pets and pet parents.
As Nassau County residents, the founders saw the need for emergency pet services, and
for a 24-hour facility in the area. They began the planning in November 2020, when they
sold their home and everything in it to fund the start-up. They lived in a camper while Tanya
traveled from Savannah to Jacksonville, working in various veterinary emergency rooms
and general practices. Because their goal is to support the surrounding animal hospitals
in Nassau County, and because they have close relationships with referral hospitals in
Jacksonville, Robinson 24-Hour Veterinary Hospital will be a hub for premium pet care
for the foreseeable future. Look for their opening at the end of Spring 2023.
